We would not hesitate to recommend Peter and Karmen Costigan – Star Home Theatre for any work that you might be considering. We did a total re-build of our house in Toorak, Melbourne in 2005. Star Home Theatre was referred by my Project Manager/Builder.
We found Peter to be professional in all aspects whether it was advice (which he was very patient with explaining why he was recommending one system over another), sensitivity to budget constraints, actual installation, handover, instructions on using system, etc. We found that Peter provided after-sale- service and would always go the extra mile, something you do not find in business today.
We had Peter supply and install an integrated audio video system which included the following:- a 42” Fujitsu Plasma TV, Canton in-ceiling speakers, Onkyo Receiver and DVD Player, Canton Sub-woofer, Next Wave HD set top box, IPod Docking station and remote LCD touch-screen remote , a 32” Toshiba LCD TV, plus all cabling, installation.

And it doesn’t end there; the best leads and components are used so that any technological purchase is enhanced to its optimum aural or visual degree. Perfection has a price, but with Star Home Theatre the cost is well worth it and in overall terms affordable considering that the ‘best’ lasts longer than the quick fix deal.

Peter Costigan of Star Home Theatre installed a wall mounted TV and sound system with outdoor speakers as part of an extensive renovation to our property in December 2007. This was a complicated installation to a triple bricked property which required extensive liaising with the cabinetmaker, electrician etc. Peter went beyond the call of duty to ensure the system was working for my daughters birthday party and bravely completed the final programming surrounded by 20 thirteen year olds! It was a pleasure working with him and I would definitely recommend his services.
Star Home Theatre installed television, audio etc for us in an older house. Every time we turn it on it brings back pleasant memories of dealing with a small business offering expertise, attention to detail, well chosen products, and best of all, initial and after sales service to that makes you wish all businesses operated that way. Being unskilled in modern machinery, we needed a number of times to call Peter to sort out little messes, mostly caused by a grandchild's exploratory finger.
